Gottfried Finger (c. 1655 - 1730) - Moravian Baroque composer and virtuoso player of the viola da gamba, for which he wrote many pieces. Born in Olomouc, worked at the court of King James II Stuart, he later became an independent composer and left England to settle in Germany (Mannheim).
