Daniel Purcell (c. 1664 - 1717) - English Baroque composer, younger brother (or cousin) of Henry Purcell. His work includes both spiritual compositions (the famous
Magnificat) and compositions of a secular nature (
Masque, opera), including collections of sonatas and trio sonatas for recorder (1710).
